About the Role

CHEC is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Practitioner to join our bank as we continue to expand our services throughout the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the safe and effective working of our Endoscopy Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the entire pathway for patients from pre-admission to procedure, then recovery and discharge.
  • Contribute to the safe and effective working of the Endoscopy Unit and support CQC and JAG GRS activities and accreditation.
  • Work under the coordination of the Endoscopy Nurse in Charge to provide the best possible experience for patients.
  • Prepare clinical areas for clinical activities daily and participate in CQC and JAG accreditation and continuing competency training requirements.

Requirements

  • Registered practitioner with the NMC or HCPC.
  • At least 1-year previous experience as a registered practitioner or equivalent in an Endoscopy service.
  • Experience with JAG accreditation.
  • Passion for high-quality patient safety and care.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience.
