About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Actuarial Business Analyst to join our team at MS Amlin. As a key member of our Finance Change team, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and improving business processes, leading to the overall growth and success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit, analyse, and validate the needs of business stakeholders, customers, or end-users.
  • Gather Idea Initiation Documents and document business requirements to ensure that the full business and IT impact has been thought through.
  • Design and optimise business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs where aligned to small change portfolio for delivery.
  • Examine complex data to draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them by understanding business and functional requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders, Architecture, Data, and IT teams, and other relevant parties.
Requirements
  • Insurance business analysis experience.
  • Experience of working with London Market (Lloyd's).
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) is a plus.
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience of working with outsourcing and/or external third-party suppliers/partners.
  • Experience of working across Finance, Actuarial, System, and Data functions.
