About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for children and young people with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and share best practices.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • Completion of a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
  • At least 6 months of paid experience in a mental health hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Restraint and ILS Training completed within the last 12 months.
