CNC Miller Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our team in Knaresborough. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce complex, high-quality parts to meet strict standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and run CNC Millers
  • Undertake tool changes, offsets, and program editing
  • Produce components to production deadlines
  • Work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards (AS9001 & ISO 13485)
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will be apprentice trained and hold a relevant qualification
  • Confident CNC setting and operating experience
  • Experience of producing prototypes and first-offs to drawings
  • Experience of working in a variety of materials, including polymers and metal
  • Experience with modern quality control standards and measurement of parts
  • Experience of working to tight tolerances
  • Ability to select, set, and change machine tools
  • Experience of 5 Axis or mill turn machines would be of great interest
  • Working knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain would be advantageous
