Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Parts Manager to oversee our parts operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction for both external and internal clients while optimizing return on investment through effective parts sales and inventory management. You will lead and inspire a dedicated parts team, setting a standard of excellence and supporting the management team in achieving business objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing parts ordering, overseeing goods in and out, maintaining displays and retail areas, and addressing customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills to motivate a team of parts specialists, apprentices, and administrative staff.
- Utilize computer skills effectively, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and dealership management systems.
- Apply knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, retailing, and technical aspects of parts.
- Promote a safe working environment through health and safety training and awareness.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills, along with strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Analyze departmental KPIs and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
- Collaborate and manage cross-functional teams efficiently.
- Prior experience in the agricultural sector is preferred.
