About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Plumber to join a leading construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting site services with the installation of temporary plumbing works, as well as assisting with aftercare on mechanical defects and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist site services with the installation of temporary plumbing works.
- Assist with aftercare on mechanical defects and maintenance tasks.
- Assist site services with the installation of permanent mechanical tasks.
- Assist site services with the installation of external R.W.P and Copings.
- Assist site services with the installation of external in-ground services such as mains water pipes, boosted water, sprinkler mains, district heating pipes, and leak detection systems.
- Ensure all M&E plant and equipment is installed to the highest standard and safety compliant.
- Maintain a safe working environment and carry out regular inspections using the company safety department as appropriate.
- Company vehicle, phone, power tools, and uniform provided.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to.
- Training will be provided for any additional job-related tasks.
- Maintain accurate daily site diaries.
- Be responsible for maintaining or requesting new PPE.
- Be responsible for maintenance and inspection of all tools and equipment issued and weekly PUWER completed.
- Be responsible for issuing daily FORS paperwork.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Good mechanical knowledge.
- Plumbers' card/CSCS card.
- NVQ 2/City and Guilds in Plumbing.
- Driving license.
