iMultiply Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in East Lothian. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial and Management Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Systems & Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Audit Liaison & Year-End Completion: Coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process and complete year-end tasks in a timely manner.
  • Cashflow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet business needs.
  • Transactional Processing: Oversee the processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and prepare required reports.
  • Team Support & Collaboration: Provide support and guidance to team members and collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Cost Accounting & Inventory Management: Manage cost accounting and inventory systems to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Projects: Participate in ad hoc financial projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Newly Qualified, Part-Qualified (continuing studying) or QBE Accountant
  • Able to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to operate across the business and to drive change across the finance structure
  • Good IT skills
