Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Carrington Blake Recruitment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying, with experience in leading on the financial aspects of projects, cost control, estimating, contracts, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrutinise the financial and contractual aspects of allocated projects from inception to completion
  • Work on the programme of capital works projects, including education, housing, and corporate buildings
  • Lead on cost control, estimating, contracts, and contract administration
  • Adhere to agreed project timescales and be self-sufficient
  • Progress multiple programmes/projects through to completion

Requirements:

  • Strong Quantity Surveying background, with experience in leading on financial aspects of projects
  • MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent qualifications
  • Local authority experience an advantage, but not essential
  • Broad background in professional, contracting, and Local Authority

What We Offer:
