Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of special purpose plant machinery, with a focus on electrical bias.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including PPMs and reactive maintenance, to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, using schematic drawings and wiring diagrams
- Replace bearings, straps, and belts, and perform other mechanical tasks as required
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
- Participate in project work, including the installation of new equipment and the upgrade of existing systems
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in repairing and maintaining special purpose plant machinery, with an electrical bias
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and electrical wiring diagrams
- Strong mechanical skills, including the ability to replace bearings, straps, and belts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
