Job Summary:

A highly sought-after opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Operations Professional to join our client, a leading Food Manufacturing company, as their Head of UK Operational Excellence. Reporting directly to the UK Board Level SLT, this role will be responsible for driving significant business, process, and continuous improvement projects across the entire UK Operations.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 3 days spent at our Head Office in Buckinghamshire, with flexibility to travel across other sites as needed. As the successful candidate, you will have full ownership of the long-term strategic plan, aligning with the business's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver large-scale business, process, and continuous improvement projects across UK manufacturing sites.
  • Develop and implement innovative business improvement and process projects, leveraging considerable budget and internal teams/assets.
  • Drive multi-million-pound project management and delivery, with a focus on budgetary management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, influencing and collaborating to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in large-scale Food Production and Supply Chain management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Food Manufacturing processes, including NPD, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Food Safety/Quality.
  • Strong project management and delivery skills, with experience in managing budgets and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
