**Job Title:** Optical Assistant - Domiciliary Care Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join our team in the Birmingham area. As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered eye care to patients within care homes.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver high-quality professional services to patients within care homes
  • Support and work alongside optometrists to ensure seamless patient care
  • Dispense and fit eyewear to all levels, with a focus on customer care and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with care home staff and residents
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our mobile eye care service

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in optics (6-months minimum)
  • Ability to dispense to all levels
  • Full, UK, manual driving license with no points or previous convictions
  • Customer-focused individual with a friendly, warm, and upbeat attitude
  • Calm persona with patience

**What We Offer:**

  • Competitive salary of up to £23,795
  • Company car and fuel allowance
  • Performance-related bonus (approximately £200 per month)
  • Full 28 days holiday
  • Normal working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required
