Teaching Personnel: Seeking Tutors for Young Learners

We are committed to providing high-quality education to young people who require additional support. As a tutor with Teaching Personnel, you will play a vital role in helping these learners bridge gaps in their education and re-engage with learning.

About the Role

Our outreach tuition roles support young people who are not currently in or accessing mainstream schools. These individuals may have been excluded, have recently moved to a new location, or have special educational needs that require specialist provision.

As a tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons for these young people. It is essential that you create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a rapport with each learner and encouraging a growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tuition to Primary and Secondary aged pupils
  • Support learners with Maths and English skills
  • Work face-to-face with pupils in their homes, care homes, or public venues
  • Communicate effectively with parents and Teaching Personnel
Requirements
  • Positive attitude and passion for supporting young people
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH students or as a Fully Qualified Teacher
