Our client excels in providing Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) design services through to execution across various sectors including healthcare, residential, commercial, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rate Development: Formulate rates for items in a Bill of Quantities utilizing labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Supply Chain Oversight: Manage supply chain inquiries to guarantee prompt and competitive quotations.
  • Cost Planning Accuracy: Ensure that cost planning and estimation are accurate and align with project specifications and risk assessments.
  • Compliance with Policies: Uphold and ensure adherence to company protocols and policies.
  • Preparation of Bills of Quantities: Create comprehensive bills of quantities for diverse projects.
  • Risk Assessment: Recognize and assist in managing project risks and opportunities.
  • Cost Evaluation: Prepare and scrutinize costings for tenders to ensure competitive and feasible pricing.
Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should possess:

  • Experience in analyzing tender documents and contract stipulations.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • A proven history of managing property-related contracts within a housing association context.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a high-quality, customer-focused service.
  • Competence in a housing or technical construction field.
  • Experience in implementing and overseeing Performance Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with various Asset Management Databases.
  • Capability to analyze and interpret technical data.
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, commitment, enthusiasm, and innovation.
  • Proficiency in IT tools such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing applications, stock condition databases, and relevant software.
  • Experience in budget management for large-scale projects.
  • Expertise in procuring external contractors and consultants.
  • Experience in negotiating contractual claims and variations.
  • Ability to prepare financial reports for management teams.
  • A general understanding of Mechanical & Electrical principles.
