Audit and Accounts Semi Senior Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is proud to support a leading accountancy practice in their search for an experienced Audit and Accounts Semi Senior. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable firm with a diverse client base, offering a supportive work environment and opportunities for career growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with audits, including planning and fieldwork, as well as general bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns. They will also be involved in the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and reporting, as well as personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months experience and be studying towards ACCA or ACA. They will also have practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice, as well as a knowledge of various software packages. Strong communication and team working skills are essential, with experience in direct contact with clients being preferred.

The benefits package is highly competitive and negotiable, depending on experience and background. The company offers a relaxed and friendly working environment, agile working hours, and a 5% pension with contributions made through salary sacrifice. Additionally, there is an excellent study support package to help you become ACCA or ACA qualified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with audits, including planning and fieldwork
  • General bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns

  • Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies
  • Payroll preparation for weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Support the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed
