About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert quantity surveying services on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Contract Services: Deliver effective pre-contract services on complex projects, ensuring that measured quantities meet the New Rule of Measurement and suitable procurement arrangements are used.
  • Estimating: Produce estimates in early design stages for stage sign offs and project approvals, ensuring that estimates of prime cost and provisional sums establish levels of contingencies on complex projects.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contract documents to suit the adopted form of contract and assess and process Contractor payments.
  • Financial Management: Manage, control, and use financial resources, assessing financial implications of actions, monitoring and reporting on variances, and identifying remedial actions as a result of variances.
Requirements
  • A Quantity Surveying related qualification to graduate level.
  • Appropriate experience within a multi-disciplined professional design organisation.
  • Experience in Project and Programme Management, including planning, delivering, and evaluating a series of interrelated activities.
  • Experience in Financial Management, including managing, controlling, and using financial resources.
