KPS operates as the engineering consultancy branch of Kier Group, delivering innovative design solutions, expert technical guidance, and comprehensive engineering support across various Kier business units.

In the role of Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with the KPS team to facilitate the execution of diverse mechanical projects, primarily focusing on the water sector and large-scale pumping stations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing equipment specifications and datasheets based on process requirement specifications and P&IDs for the selection of equipment related to water, wastewater, and other treatment systems.
  • Engaging in projects involving sludge treatment, chemical dosing, and pumping systems.

This position is ideal for candidates who possess:

  • A substantial amount of postgraduate experience.
  • Expertise in the water sector, particularly with pumping stations.
