Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head Small Animal Vet to manage and oversee the clinical caseload and business operations at our Uppingham practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, with built-in admin time and a flexible diary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the clinical caseload and business operations at our Uppingham practice
  • Help support our transition as the practice expands its services following our new RCVS hospital status
  • Maintain a healthy work-life balance, with built-in admin time and a flexible diary
  • Work with a dedicated night nurse team, providing 24-hour on-site care
  • Contribute to the development of our practice, including business development opportunities and fully funded certificates

Benefits:

  • Circa £65,000 - £85,000 salary
  • 4-day workweek with time allocated for administration
  • 5 weeks paid holiday + bank holidays
  • RCVS fees and Full VDS cover
  • Pension, relocation support, and generous CPD allowance
  • Equally shared OOH rota (currently 1:10) with time off following on-call shifts
