We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head Small Animal Vet to manage and oversee the clinical caseload and business operations at our Uppingham practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, with built-in admin time and a flexible diary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the clinical caseload and business operations at our Uppingham practice
- Help support our transition as the practice expands its services following our new RCVS hospital status
- Maintain a healthy work-life balance, with built-in admin time and a flexible diary
- Work with a dedicated night nurse team, providing 24-hour on-site care
- Contribute to the development of our practice, including business development opportunities and fully funded certificates
Benefits:
- Circa £65,000 - £85,000 salary
- 4-day workweek with time allocated for administration
- 5 weeks paid holiday + bank holidays
- RCVS fees and Full VDS cover
- Pension, relocation support, and generous CPD allowance
- Equally shared OOH rota (currently 1:10) with time off following on-call shifts
