Nursery Chef

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Assistant Nursery Chef/Cook to join our team at Farley Nursery School. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Provide balanced and nutritious meals for all children attending the nursery, catering for children with specific dietary needs
- Instill high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance with relevant regulations
- Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich, stimulating experiences
- Maintain stock levels and ensure stock rotation
- Be aware of COSHH guidelines and follow relevant procedures
- Deputise for the Cook in all absences, with the expectation of deputising full-time when required
- Level 2 Food and Hygiene certification
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
- Alignment with Storal's values of responsibility, openness, and teamwork
- Competitive hourly rate from £10.42 to £10.62 based on experience and qualifications
- Storal will cover the cost of transport to the nursery setting
