About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Partner to join our expanding practice at a leading law firm in Central London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex construction contracts and be able to lead on these matters when appropriate, managing a team of junior associates if required.

The successful candidate will also be required to take the lead on business development opportunities, including managing client relationships and leading key client accounts.

The firm is a leading provider of specialist advice to corporations and individuals, with an impressive list of clients and a strong reputation in the industry.

The Construction Partner will have extensive knowledge and strong experience in Construction matters, adjudications, arbitrations, and a good working knowledge of the principal standard forms for construction contracts.

The ideal candidate will possess strong networking skills and the ability to generate leads, with a client following required for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on complex construction contracts and manage a team of junior associates
  • Take the lead on business development opportunities, including managing client relationships and leading key client accounts
  • Contribute to the overall firm strategy of growth and support the development of junior fee earners in the team
  • Collaborate with other partners and fee earners in the wider firm
