Nephrology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nephrology Consultant to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Renal Services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Support general nephrology activity, including AKI management and 7-day working
- Have responsibility for haemodialysis patients at the Boston haemodialysis unit
- Undertake other duties as identified to meet the needs of the service
- Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence
- Attend nephrology department team meetings and contribute to clinical supervision of trainees
- Have continuing responsibility for patients in your care and for the proper functioning of the department of nephrology
- Attend renal biopsy meeting, clinical meeting, and consultant network meeting
- Participate in team, department, regional, and national audits
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the nephrology service
- Participate in the nephrologist of the week and on-call service for nephrology at Lincoln County Hospital
- Full Registration with the GMC
- Entry on the GMC specialist register via CCT in Nephrology, CESR, or European Community rights
- Wide experience in Nephrology
- MRCP or equivalent
- ALS
- Evidence of an active research interest in Nephrology
- Involvement in audit
- Current UK Driving Licence or ability to organise alternative means of travel to other sites of work
