Nephrology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nephrology Consultant to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Renal Services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

• Support general nephrology activity, including AKI management and 7-day working
• Have responsibility for haemodialysis patients at the Boston haemodialysis unit
• Undertake other duties as identified to meet the needs of the service
• Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence
• Attend nephrology department team meetings and contribute to clinical supervision of trainees
• Have continuing responsibility for patients in your care and for the proper functioning of the department of nephrology
• Attend renal biopsy meeting, clinical meeting, and consultant network meeting
• Participate in team, department, regional, and national audits
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the nephrology service
• Participate in the nephrologist of the week and on-call service for nephrology at Lincoln County Hospital

• Full Registration with the GMC
• Entry on the GMC specialist register via CCT in Nephrology, CESR, or European Community rights
• Wide experience in Nephrology
• MRCP or equivalent
• ALS

• Evidence of an active research interest in Nephrology

• Involvement in audit
• Current UK Driving Licence or ability to organise alternative means of travel to other sites of work
