About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at EDF UK. As a key member of our commercial function, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily management of commercial and supply chain activities, ensuring alignment with established procedures and developing a robust commercial and contract strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and address risks related to contract delivery, suppliers, and the supply chain.
  • Support the commercial lead in reviewing procurement routes and ensuring alignment with project schedules.
  • Lead contract management, ensuring compatibility across projects, including scope of work, prices, key personnel, and contract administration.
  • Efficiently manage the closeout phase of each contract, ensuring all requirements are met and finalised.
Requirements

We are looking for a proven and experienced Senior Commercial Manager with a strong understanding of FIDIC and NEC 3&4 suite of contracts and major projects. You will also have knowledge of UK law and its impact on contracts and commercial functions. Additionally, you will be able to work across multiple discipline teams to develop, implement, and operate commercial strategies and contractual agreements.

A member of the RICS/CICES/IOB/CIPS or equivalent professional body is desirable.
