Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Joshua Robert Recruitment. As a leading property development company, we specialize in commercial real estate projects, with a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to assess the potential of commercial development projects.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the development process, from acquisition to completion.
  • Liaise with local authorities, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and company objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze financial appraisals and investment reports to guide decision-making processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with landowners, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and timelines.
  • Provide strategic advice on land acquisition, planning applications, and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Development, Surveying, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in commercial property development, preferably within the Midlands region.
  • Strong knowledge of property law, planning regulations, and development finance.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Midlands.
