We are seeking a talented and seasoned Senior IT Project Coordinator to become a vital part of our team at Infotel UK. In this role, you will oversee and guide the entire project lifecycle, from the initial stages through to completion, ensuring that IT projects are delivered successfully. This position offers an exciting opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative setting within a prominent digital transformation and IT consultancy firm.

Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days of remote work; however, full-time office presence is expected during the initial onboarding period. Candidates based in the Newcastle area are preferred.

Currently, we do not provide sponsorship for employees or individuals who may require sponsorship in the future. You must hold security clearance, which necessitates having been a UK resident for a minimum of 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee IT projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and achievement of quality standards.
  • Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables, effectively communicating requirements to all stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and challenges, implementing suitable mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are fulfilled and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Track project progress, monitor milestones, and provide updates on project status to stakeholders and management.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project teams and clients.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a project management capacity within the IT/IS sector.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a proven track record of managing teams and engaging with clients.
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and technology infrastructure.
  • PMP certification or other relevant qualifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or with data integration/migration projects is a plus.
