Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Heritage Consultant or Associate Director to join our team at Allen & York. In this key role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of heritage-related projects, providing expert advice to clients on planning processes, and contribute to new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing heritage impact assessments
  • Providing expert advice at various stages of development (from feasibility to appeals)
  • Acting as an expert witness when required
  • Growing the consultancy's client base through networking and maintaining excellent client relationships

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a relevant role
  • A strong understanding of planning and heritage legislation
  • The ability to assess the impact of changes on heritage assets
  • Membership with IHBC and experience with EIA assessments
