About the Role:

As a Supervising Social Work Professional, you will play a key role in ensuring that foster carers receive the support and guidance they need to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Offer comprehensive support and supervision to a network of foster carers.
  • Conduct home visits, assessments, and reviews across the North West region.
  • Liaise with local authorities, schools, and other agencies to ensure the well-being of children in foster care.
  • Deliver training and development programs for foster carers.
  • Ensure all documentation and reports are completed to a high standard and within statutory timeframes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of fostering regulations and policies.
