Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a scientific facility in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on air conditioning systems, including air handling units and fan coil units
  • Conduct water treatment checks and perform temperature checks
  • Carry out plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Mechanical/Plumbing
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with good communication skills and client-facing experience

Candidates should have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and be able to provide copies of their trade certificates. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £38,000, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression.
