Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Fellow to join our Critical Care and Retrieval Medicine team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Senior Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our critical care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit (ICU) and retrieval medicine service.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care pathways.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our clinical governance framework.
  • Engage in research and development activities, including the design and implementation of clinical trials and studies.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Completion of a primary FRCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in critical care and retrieval medicine, including airway management, critical care procedures, and patient transportation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing clinical environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
