Ethero, a leading automotive component manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Project Manager to lead complex projects from concept to launch phases. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in first-tier automotive in a just-in-time environment.
About the Role:
As a Senior Manufacturing Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team to develop and test new processes and equipment.
- Managing multiple suppliers of tooling and capital to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Signing off new equipment, including managing run rates and capability studies in plant and at toolmaker.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of HNC level education or significant experience in a relevant role in first-tier automotive.
- Knowledge of AIAG & VDA 7-step structure for PFMEAs.
- Experience in a fast-paced just-in-time or just-in-sequence environment.
- Exposure to manufacturing lines highly reliant on IT software.
- Experience of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing processes.
- Experience in AutoCAD is advantageous.
