Assistant Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Mandeville Recruitment Group. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Supervise and train a team of retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality store standards
  • Assist with the management of stock, including ordering, receiving, and inventory control
  • Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Maintain a safe and secure store environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of customer service and team leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
