About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Support Specialist to join our dedicated software team at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering flexible, robust, and innovative solutions that meet specific business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and support of software solutions to enable timely and appropriate customization and training for end-users.
  • Diagnose support issues and prepare resolutions with appropriate code changes, while understanding the requirements for new functionality.
  • Document and adhere to standards and methodologies to drive consistency throughout the team and products.
  • Provide technical support to product specialists for new installs and upgrades for existing clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent, including Mathematics and English.
  • Degree in a science-based subject.
  • Strong programming expertise with the ability to execute a wide range of programming activities with minimal direction.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend improvements for software effectiveness.
  • Proactive and highly organized with strong time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to communicate optimally with staff across the Business, Support, and Development teams.
  • Ability to understand the importance of and adhere to confidentiality in handling client and patient personal data.
