**Class 1 Day Driver - Refrigerated Products Delivery**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution Limited. As a Class 1 Day Driver, you will be responsible for delivering refrigerated products to retail stores in the Inverness area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver refrigerated products to retail stores in a safe and timely manner.
  • Load and unload refrigerated vehicles with tail lifts, ensuring load security.
  • Use a handheld PDA to complete paperwork and manage delivery routes.
  • Plan and manage delivery routes on a day-to-day basis.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience of refrigerated trailers and tail lifts is preferred but not essential.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Be a confident, polite, and team-oriented individual.
  • Have good geographical knowledge and be able to navigate the Inverness area.
