Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Acute Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Acute and Urgent Care Directorate at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert assessment, investigation, and management of high-quality person-centred treatment plans and discharge planning.
- Undertake Responsible Clinician responsibilities with the support of a Consultant Nurse.
- Engage with the development of your Job Plan and participate in the supervision and support of the higher trainee programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a clinical leader and contribute to the delivery of exceptional Mental Health and Learning Disability care for our local population.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Acute Care, you will be based on Ward 2 and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of clinical care is delivered, meeting all targets and objectives in line with national and local standards.
Person Specification- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
