RSK Group, a leading provider of environmental and engineering services, is seeking a qualified Traffic Management Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be based in the UK and will be responsible for managing road networks to reduce congestion, disruption, and changing travel behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management equipment on low-speed roads.
- Conducting traffic counts, communicating with clients and subcontractors, and recording timings and near misses.
- Maintaining temporary traffic lights and ensuring they are functioning correctly.
- Providing guidance and support to new trainees.
Person Specification:
- M1 / M2 or SLG Unit 2 / 10 qualification as a minimum.
- Knowledge of Chapter 8 guidelines.
- Able to pass a safety-critical worker medical examination.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A full clean UK driving license.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NRSWA M7 certification.
- 12A Foreman certification.
