The Opportunity

Are you a skilled Network Systems Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team at Nigel Wright Group as a Networking & Infrastructure Engineer. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, and you will be based on-site at one of our offices, with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level support for corporate infrastructure systems, including networking, security, and wireless technologies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, access points, and wireless LAN controllers.
  • Configure and manage Fortigate firewalls, VPNs, DMZs, and other security solutions.
  • Develop and maintain robust network security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and best practices.

Requirements
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Robust experience in providing network support for large-scale, multi-site organizations.
  • Strong experience with Cisco and Fortigate technologies.
  • Good working knowledge of IP networking, routing, and security.
  • Good understanding of hardware virtualization, particularly VMWare.
  • Good understanding of Trellix security products, SCCM, and Ivanti.

Desirable Qualifications
  • CCNA certification.
