Job Overview
This role presents an exciting opportunity to support the residents of Redbridge. You will have the chance to maximize your potential by providing essential support to those in our care. Utilizing a reablement approach, the successful candidate will promote service user independence and empowerment, assisting them in understanding their medical conditions and disabilities. You will help service users learn or regain skills necessary for personal, domestic, and social tasks as part of their therapeutic plan.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that service users and their families are fully informed of their rights during all stages of assessment and reassessment.
- Provide holistic care to service users in various settings, including their homes, health centers, and residential facilities.
- Manage a delegated caseload appropriate to your level of expertise.
- Organize and plan your own delegated work effectively.
- Participate in a duty rota to deliver care to service users, including during unsociable hours.
Starting with NELFT
NELFT places significant importance on welcoming and inducting new staff members. All new employees will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undergo a comprehensive induction lasting up to two weeks. This induction includes mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. New starters will also have the opportunity to meet the executive team and senior managers, as well as attend various drop-in sessions focused on engagement, health, wellbeing, and key processes.

This position is subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt unless they are currently partway through a probationary period or are bank staff.
High-Cost Area Supplement
This role includes a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436), pro rata for part-time staff.
