Key Responsibilities:
As a proficient Reach Truck Operator, you will be tasked with ensuring the production lines are adequately supplied with raw materials. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely loading materials to meet quality standards.
- Unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
- Utilizing a forklift to move stock within the warehouse.
- Verifying products against dispatch documentation and internal records.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout the facility.
- Conducting inspections on machinery to identify repair needs and performing routine safety checks.
- Keeping accurate inventory records and activity logs.
- Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
- Assisting in prioritizing tasks within the designated warehouse area.
Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid Reach forklift license.
- A valid Counterbalance forklift license.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and proper equipment usage.
- Familiarity with inventory management procedures.
- Training in manual handling and safe lifting techniques.
- Understanding of safe stacking methods.
- Basic knowledge of AS400 systems (training will be provided).
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to support team objectives.
Working Environment:
This role involves working in a factory setting, which may include exposure to dust and elevated noise levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory and will be provided, including safety footwear, eye protection, and ear protection in designated areas. The position may require physical exertion, including regular heavy lifting. The work schedule consists of 39 hours per week, following an annualized hours pattern.
