Accountancy Firm Seeks Trainee Accountant

CV Screen Ltd is recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join a talented team in Tiverton. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing full accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, as well as tax computations and self-assessment tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Liaising directly with clients when preparing management accounts
  • Communicating with HMRC
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an Accountancy Practice is desirable but not essential
  • An understanding of VAT rules
  • Studying Level 3 AAT minimum
Salary and Location:

A salary of up to 25k is available based on qualifications and experience. The role is based in Tiverton, located just off the M5.
