Job Title: Sales Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to join our team at Proactive Personnel Ltd. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders efficiently via email, telephone, and Sage 200.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery.
  • Arrange and book transportation for customer orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Create and complete shipping documents, including labels, to ensure accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Enter data onto systems, as required, using Sage 200 and data storage, to maintain accurate records and support business growth.
  • Maintain a positive company image and reputation with our customers by providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Build customer relationships with the objective of retention and growth, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate colleague, ensuring seamless communication and support.
  • Support colleagues with other duties as required and as directed by your Line Manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Manage and plan your duties to achieve agreed objectives, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to support business growth.
  • Provide relevant commercial information to the Sales team, supporting business growth and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Previous administrative experience to a high level, with a strong understanding of administrative procedures and protocols.
  • ERP experience, ideally in Sage 200, with a strong understanding of data entry and management.
  • Keen to take on responsibility and ownership, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Fantastic attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to understand procedures and follow instructions, with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Confidentiality and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • IT/Tech savvy, with a strong understanding of technology and its applications in a business environment.
  • Flexibility to cover all aspects of an office-based role, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
