Senior Ecologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our expanding London Ecology team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping sustainable solutions for a variety of high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct ecological surveys and assessments, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring ecological compliance.
  • Engage in projects across regeneration, property, transport, and public sectors, providing expert ecological advice.
  • Collaborate with other regional teams, traveling as necessary to deliver cohesive, multi-regional solutions.
Requirements
  • 1-4 years of experience in ecological consultancy or a related field.
  • Strong grasp of UK ecological legislation, planning policies, and experience with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
  • Proficiency in ecological surveys, technical report writing, and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
  • A degree in Ecology or a related field, with CIEEM membership preferred. A full UK driving licence is required, and holding a protected species licence is a plus.
