Job Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced Commercial Plumbers to join our team at Mitie, a leading facilities management company. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks related to Legionella control and water treatment, including monitoring, remedial cleaning, chemical testing, and minor plumbing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out plumbing tasks in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company guidelines.
  • Maintain customer water safe logbooks and document water samples in line with the Water Technical Manual guidance.
  • Complete and submit all documentation related to the work carried out in a timely manner.
  • Carry out water system cleaning and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the FM sector, with a focus on Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment.
  • NVQ level 2 in Plumbing is an essential minimum requirement for this role.
  • Basic IT skills, preferably with Microsoft packages.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
