At Rockstar Dundee, we're on the hunt for a talented UI Programmer to join our team of world-class developers.

What We Do

We're a diverse, multinational team of programmers and developers working together across time zones to create the User Interface features that form the connection between the player and our games.

We use our industry-leading, in-house proprietary "RAGE" engine to produce seamless UI experiences for our millions of players.

Responsibilities

  • As a UI Programmer, you'll work across all areas of UI code development, delivering technology updates and game feature code.
  • You'll work with your lead to identify feature areas and tasks to support other feature areas.
  • You'll provide time estimates and technical issue forecasting for all work, assuming full responsibility for its completion.
  • You'll deliver high-quality, fully debugged, performant code to the agreed-upon time requirements.
  • You'll review other programmers' code and ensure it meets the required quality levels.

Qualifications

  • A degree in software engineering, mathematics, or computer science.

Skills

  • Strong C++ and low-level, high-performance coding.
  • Comfortable with a wide range of code design patterns, including Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Experience with XML, XAML, JSON, and other common file formats.
  • Familiarity with day-to-day game development tools, including bug tracking software, communication tools, and version control software.

Pluses

  • 1+ published AAA console title.
  • Experience with C# and tools programming.
