Essential Qualifications
  • Possess a reflective and innovative approach when collaborating with foster caregivers and young individuals to inspire their full potential.
  • Capable of managing a caseload of approximately 13 fostering families, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Committed to offering comprehensive support to foster caregivers, including participation in an out-of-hours on-call service.
  • Demonstrate passion and a desire to contribute to the growth and enhancement of the Fostering service.
  • Hold a relevant professional qualification in Social Work.
  • Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Experience in a fostering-related social work role or child social care, such as a looked-after children's team.
  • Proven ability to identify the needs of young individuals.
  • Strong understanding of fostering regulations, childcare law, and safeguarding matters.
  • Ability to make objective professional assessments of children and young individuals.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driving license.
