- Capable of managing a caseload of approximately 13 fostering families, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Committed to offering comprehensive support to foster caregivers, including participation in an out-of-hours on-call service.
- Demonstrate passion and a desire to contribute to the growth and enhancement of the Fostering service.
- Hold a relevant professional qualification in Social Work.
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
- Experience in a fostering-related social work role or child social care, such as a looked-after children's team.
- Proven ability to identify the needs of young individuals.
- Strong understanding of fostering regulations, childcare law, and safeguarding matters.
- Ability to make objective professional assessments of children and young individuals.
- Access to a vehicle and a valid driving license.
