- Oversee the financial health of three sites on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist with balance sheet control, risk management, and audit processes to maintain financial stability.
- Ensure inventory checks adhere to internal standards, promoting efficient use of resources.
- Manage working capital and conduct ongoing cost reviews to optimize financial performance.
- Handle Purchase and Sales Ledgers with precision and accuracy.
**Ideal Candidate:**
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in financial operations.
- Capable of working independently and supervising a small team when required, with excellent leadership skills.
**Typical Daily/Weekly Tasks:**
- Coordinate with local management, divisional, and group-level accounting staff to maintain consistency and ensure seamless financial operations.
- Manage risk and working capital concerns, identifying and mitigating potential financial threats.
- Complete all accounts office tasks accurately and promptly, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
- Pursue aged debtors, ensuring timely collection and minimizing financial losses.
**Typical Monthly Tasks:**
- Reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile manufacturer bonus debts, resolving any discrepancies and ensuring financial integrity.
- Support the production of management accounts, providing valuable insights and analysis.
- Calculate and post accruals and prepayments, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Handle demo write-downs, ensuring accurate valuation and financial reporting.
- Assist with Composite submissions to the Brand, ensuring compliance and financial accuracy.
- Support Sales & Purchase ledger closing, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review and report on aged debtors, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing financial performance.
