Job Title: Clinical Lead - Mental Health Liaison Service

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychiatric Liaison Nurse to take on a leadership role in our Enhanced Mental Health Liaison Service. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for driving the leadership and service development of the team, ensuring that all clinical activities adhere to national clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring that all referrals undergo thorough assessment, appropriate management, and timely discharge.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided by the team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • 2 years of experience as a band 6.
  • Experience of working in Psychiatric Liaison Service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
