Job Opportunity for a Dedicated Deputy Manager

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join their team in a care home based in the Biggleswade, Bedfordshire area.

This care home specializes in providing a specialist nursing service for individuals with mid-late stage dementia. As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting an enabling environment, ensuring high standards of professional practice, and ensuring compliance with external regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote an enabling environment and ensure high standards of professional practice
  • Deputise in the absence of the manager
  • Provide management, support, advice, and motivation to the staff team
  • Have experience of working with people who have dementia and have held a supervisory role within the social care sector
  • Be highly flexible in your approach

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable and proven managerial experience within a similar role
  • Good computer skills
  • Understanding of person-centred, needs-led, and outcome-based service
  • Committed to quality care and service provision
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £21.48 per hour and the annual salary is up to £44,678.40 per annum. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive a range of benefits, including enhanced disclosure cost coverage, comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training, and 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
