We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Valuation Analyst to join our team at Pantheon. As a key member of our Valuation Analytics team, you will play a critical role in assisting with valuation analysis on a portfolio of investments, including co-investments, fund investments, and direct positions.
Key Responsibilities- Valuation Analysis: Prepare team outputs on General Partners, directly valued co-investments for reporting and audit purposes.
- Technical Support: Provide valuation technical support, including industry trends and regulations, and resolve ad-hoc queries from the Valuation Committee and other Pantheon teams.
- Process Improvement: Assist with the development and implementation of valuation processes for new strategies, build efficiencies, and focus on continuous improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to the team's deliverables and performance, provide support and analysis to external audit teams, and assist with the management of annual audits relating to valuations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Pantheon policy, including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct.
- Education: A degree with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis, preferably with a Level Maths or equivalent.
- Professional Designations: Progress towards ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent designation.
- Experience: Experience with valuation and operational aspects of servicing semi-liquid funds, private capital valuation knowledge, and strong understanding of valuation methodologies.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills, with strong knowledge of software packages including Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
