About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for configuring and managing flat networks using routers and access points, as well as providing technical support for complex IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Setup and Management: Configure and manage flat networks using routers and access points, ensuring seamless connectivity and high-performance network operations.
- Technical Support: Provide 3rd line support for complex IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to mobile signals, firewalls, email web filtering, Mimecast, Hyper-V, and Windows environments.
- Microsoft 365 and SharePoint: Manage and support Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Travel: Travel to various sites across the UK, requiring a full UK driving licence.
- Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team, with occasional site and construction experience being beneficial but not essential.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in setting up and managing flat networks, knowledge of mobile signals, 3CX, Novia, firewalls, email web filtering, Mimecast, Hyper-V, and Windows environments.
- Strong Experience: Minimum of 2nd line support experience, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and technical support.
- Full UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for travel to various sites across the UK.
