Acute Medicine Opportunity at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Acute Medicine Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Our Acute Medicine Unit is a dynamic and forward-thinking team, committed to providing excellent care to our patients. We are looking for a Consultant who shares our values and is passionate about delivering innovative and effective care.

As a Consultant in Acute Medicine, you will be responsible for leading the care of patients with acute medical conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new care pathways and the evaluation of existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the care of patients with acute medical conditions
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new care pathways
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Participate in the evaluation of existing care pathways and services
  • Contribute to the development of our Trust's policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Experience in Acute Medicine
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
