Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant:

\u2022 Production of monthly Inter Company Reconciliations
\u2022 Production of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
\u2022 Production of P&L Reconciliations
\u2022 Maintenance and reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register
\u2022 Preparation and review of all Prepayments & Accruals
\u2022 Preparation and posting of journals
\u2022 Adhering to Group Policies and Processes within the department
\u2022 Posting expenses analysis to the Coins ledger
\u2022 Providing cover for the Management Accountant
\u2022 Any other duties as reasonably requested

Person Specification:

\u2022 Preferably part-qualified, studying towards qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
\u2022 Good Excel skills and previous usage of spreadsheets
\u2022 Knowledge and experience of balance sheet reconciliations
\u2022 Attention to detail
\u2022 Ability to work to deadlines
\u2022 Flexible attitude
