We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow to join our Paediatric Department at UHBW Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in operating lists and clinics, and contributing to the development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Duties: Provide general care to inpatient paediatric surgical children, participate in paediatric and neonatal operating lists and clinics, including outreach operating and clinics.
- On-Call Rota: Participate in a non-resident on-call rota system, working 1 in 6.
- Departmental Support: Join a department supported by a team of Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetists, Paediatricians, Neonatologists, Radiologists, and Pathologists.
- Regional Service: Work as part of a regional service, networked with partner organisations, including East Sussex Hospitals, Surrey and Sussex Hospitals, Queen Victoria Hospital, and Sussex Community NHS Trusts.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the South Thames Paediatric Network, alongside Evelina London, St George's Hospital, and Kings College Hospital, to deliver high-quality care to children and young people.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent clinical skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
